The Local Area

Killington Farm is the ideal place from which to visit the many places of historic interest and natural beauty to be found in this unspoilt area.

We are only a short drive away from:

· The National Trust’s Heddon’s Mouth and Coastal footpath (2 miles) — a scenic walk following the river down to this secluded pebble beach and cove plus access to the footpath which allows many miles of unsurpassed coastal walks.

· Lynton and Lynmouth, The Valley of the Rocks and Watersmeet (5 miles)

· Steam Railway (1 mile) — recently re-opened section of the Lynton — Barnstaple narrow gauge railway crosses our farm.

· Exmoor Zoo (8 miles)

Slightly further afield are an array of attractions:

· North Devon’s stunning beaches such as Woolacombe — 3 miles of golden sand, Croyde Bay (for the Surfers) and Saunton Sands.

· The popular seaside resorts of Combe Martin and Ilfracombe

· Theme Parks such as The Big Sheep, The Milky Way, Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park are all within

· The market town of Barnstaple is reached within a 25 minute drive.
